About Golf Training Daily

We are real golfers who got tired of wasting money on training aids that do not work. So we started testing them ourselves — thoroughly, honestly, and on the course.

What We Do

Every week we test golf training aids — putting mats, swing trainers, alignment sticks, launch monitors, grip trainers, and everything in between. We use them for weeks, not minutes, before we write a single word.

Each review follows the same structure: what it is, how we tested it, what worked, what didn't, and whether it's worth your money. No marketing copy. No sponsored fluff.

Our Review Process

  1. Purchase. We buy the product ourselves. Full price. No free units.
  2. Test. We use it for at least three weeks, both at home and on the course.
  3. Measure. We track real stats — putts per round, fairways hit, greens in regulation — before and after.
  4. Write. We write what actually happened. Good, bad, or indifferent.

How We Make Money

Some links in our reviews are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This keeps the site running and lets us buy more products to test. It does not affect our reviews — a product we rate poorly still earns us a commission if you buy it, and we would rather you not waste your money.

Who We Are

Golf Training Daily is written by a small team of golfers who test gear ourselves before writing a word about it. We are not PGA pros. We are not influencers. We are regular golfers who want to get better and figure you do too.

We have collectively tested over 40 training aids across putting, full swing, short game, and fitness. We keep testing more.

Martin Payne — Reviews

Martin handles hands-on product reviews. If it's a launch monitor, a swing analyzer, or a piece of gear you're deciding whether to buy, he's the one who bought it, used it for weeks, and wrote down what actually happened.

Gina Waters — Women's Golf

Gina covers training aids and guides built for women golfers, from swing speed to setup to short game. She tests with an eye for what actually fits, not what's marketed as unisex and quietly built for someone else.

Pamela James — Senior Golf

Pamela writes for golfers who want to keep swinging well into their 60s and 70s without wrecking their back. Mobility, tempo, and training aids that respect a slower recovery time are her focus.

Tommy Strawn — Beginners

Tommy covers the fundamentals: what a new golfer actually needs versus what the industry wants to sell them. If you are just starting out and do not know where to spend your first $100, start with his guides.

Cole Brown — News & General Guides

Cole covers equipment news, product announcements, and general buying guides that do not fit a single category. If a new launch monitor drops or a training aid gets discontinued, he is the one reporting it.
